Ciel Power LLC Designated As the Home Energy Audit provider for Highland Park, New Jersey's "Smart Homes" Home Energy Audit Program
Ciel Power LLC has been selected by the Borough of Highland Park to spearhead Highland Park's newly-launched "Smart Home" Home Energy Audit campaign.
Lyndhurst NJ - March 16, 2015 Ciel Power LLC, a leading provider of residential energy audits and energy-efficient home retrofits today announced that it has been awarded a contract designating Ciel Power LLC as the provider of residential energy audits for the Borough of Highland Park "Smart Homes" Home Energy Audit Program
The "Smart Homes" Home Energy Audit program focuses on practical ways for homeowners to save energy and money. Made possible by the Highland Park Environmental Commission, the Highland Park Green Team, the Highland Park Borough Council, and Highland Park Mayor, Gayle Brill Mittler, the program is designed to encourage local participation in the New Jersey Home Performance with Energy Star program.
The "Smart Homes" program follows in the footsteps of a similar Highland Park campaign launched in 2012 that pioneered a successful public/private partnership model to promote residential energy-efficiency upgrades. Since the program's 2012 launch it continues to serve as the benchmark of residential energy-efficiency campaigns, has been replicated in communities throughout New Jersey, and has gained the support of the state-wide sustainability organization, Sustainable Jersey.
Scott Fischer, a Managing Member of Ciel Power LLC says, "The Borough of Highland Park pioneered a new way of promoting energy efficiency upgrades." As part of this contract, Ciel Power LLC will provide energy auditing services to residents of Highland Park, New Jersey at a discounted rate of $49 per assessment. Ciel Power LLC will perform audits based on the guidelines set forth by the Building Performance Institute which include safety and efficiency testing of combustion appliances, depressurization of the home, evaluation of existing insulation levels, and a detailed report containing a prioritized list of recommended improvements.
Ciel Power LLC will work directly with the Borough of Highland Park to develop awareness of this campaign through a variety of promotional efforts including joint marketing, mailers, media coverage, and inclusion in local events and initiatives.
