Through the Summit Home Energy Insight Program, a partnership with the City of Summit, residents get a professional Ciel Power home energy audit for just $49, plus a clear, personalized path to the comfort your home's original builders couldn't have imagined.
Why Summit homes benefit most
One out of every three homes in Summit was built before 1940, and the median Summit home dates to 1953. The colonials, Tudors, and Victorians that followed the railroad are a big part of why people love living here, but behind the period details, older homes routinely lose conditioned air at two or three times the rate of new construction. An energy audit makes the invisible visible: blower door testing measures the leakage, infrared imaging finds the missing insulation, and a detailed report shows you exactly where to start.

Your audit unlocks PSE&G and JCP&L incentives
Summit is PSE&G and JCP&L territory. Your audit opens the door to the Whole Home Energy Solutions program: up to $7,500 in cash back rebates plus up to $25,000 in zero interest, on-bill financing for insulation and air sealing, high efficiency heating and cooling, and hot water upgrades.
We handle the eligibility checks, applications, and paperwork from start to finish. Current program terms run through June 30, 2027.
